Account Deletion Policy

Last updated: 4 June 2026

Overview

This Account Deletion Policy explains how users may request deletion of their accounts and what happens to related data. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and any applicable retention rules.

How Users Delete Accounts

Users may use an in-app deletion tool, an account settings option or contact Chongie CeolX Entertainment Services at info@ceolx.com to request account deletion. The exact steps available on the website and mobile application should remain consistent with this policy.

Verification

Before deleting an account, the platform may require the user to verify identity, confirm account control or complete security steps intended to prevent unauthorised deletion requests.

What Deletion Means

Account deletion may involve permanent closure of access to login credentials, profile information, user-generated content associations, saved preferences and other account-linked functionality. Certain content previously published to the platform may be removed, anonymised, disassociated or retained where lawful and operationally necessary.

Data Deletion Process

Following a valid deletion request, the platform will seek to delete or anonymise personal data that is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected. Some data may remain in backups, logs, fraud systems, financial records, complaint files or legal archives for a limited period.

Retention Exceptions

The platform may retain certain information where necessary to:

  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory obligations.
  • Resolve disputes, investigate misuse or enforce agreements.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud or document prior enforcement actions.
  • Defend legal claims or preserve evidence.

Business and Public Content

Where an account is connected with venue, organiser, artist or advertiser content of continuing public or contractual relevance, some information may need to remain visible, archived or reassigned for operational reasons. The published policy should explain how business listings and event histories are handled after deletion.

Timing

Deletion requests should be handled within a reasonable period, subject to verification, technical limitations and any lawful retention requirements.

Re-Registration

Users whose accounts are deleted may be able to create a new account in the future unless the prior account was removed for policy violations, fraud, abuse or legal reasons.
